Remember, it was back in 2010!
The Cernunnos festival was exceptionally held at the Elysée Montmartre and Arkona gave their first concert in France.
They’re doing us the honour of coming back to celebrate the 15th edition of the festival, 15 years on. A double anniversary! A chance to discover the live versions of their latest opus, Kob’, released in 2023. An album with a distinctly blacker, darker and more atmospheric sound. Suffice to say, we can’t wait!

Formed by former members of cult Romanian band Negura Bunget, Dordeduh is a totally different entity, drawing its originality from this subtle ability to blend Atmospheric Folk/Black Metal with more marked intentions towards progressive and personal music.
Dordeduh offers not one but several journeys, sometimes to the past, honouring their culture, and sometimes to the astral plane in search of spirituality.
A band worth discovering or rediscovering for their 3rd appearance at the Cernunnos Pagan Fest.

Belarus – Fantasy Folk Music
Initially, Irdorath is a Belarusian duo who had been roaming the medieval and gothic scenes for around twenty years. Now established in Germany, they are starting from scratch with new musicians who accompany them on stage.
Their repertoire is made up of traditional medieval pieces, but also compositions dedicated to Central European mythology. Intrepid bagpipes, heavy rhythms, hurdy-gurdy, cello and bouzouki, their communicative energy and their particular arrangements will take us on a journey through the world and times.

Shrouded in violence and wildness, KVAEN plays black metal with speed and pagan metal influences.
Walking the path of flesh and bone, The band delivers well-executed black metal, exploring the ‘80s infernal speed metal reign and breathing the vision of Viking age, cold steel, death and Ragnarök.
Charged with diabolic melodies, listeners are grabbed and taken on a wild ride through mysterious barren wastelands of northern Sweden.

After a 1st appearance in 2017, they’re back, even more motivated and zany than ever!

Grift is the name of the Swedish artist and multi-instrumentalist Erik Gärdefors and is known for its seamless transitions between dark folk and nature ambient compositions.
Grift has become a sought-after live artist, touring far and wide as an acoustic solo-performance and will bring us into the heart of the Swedish forest on an atmospheric and melancholy journey of great poignancy.

Always on the lookout for rare bands, it’s in Yerevan, a province of Armenia, that we found Ildaruni.
Inspired by their country’s ancient, rich and tormented history, Ildaruni offer a blend of traditional melodies, spiced up with a few folk instruments and black metal.
At once melodic and rough, chaotic and majestic, their music leaves no one indifferent.

Morgarten takes its name from a battle in which 1,500 Swiss confederates repelled 8,000 soldiers of Duke Leopold I of Austria in 1315.
The mood is set, and we’re not here for a fairytale. Epic, warlike black metal. But it also takes advantage of the rest after the battle to evoke the traditional legends of the beautiful Helvetic Alps against a backdrop of folk melodies – everything we love!
